This was an easy shot since the cow raised its head from eating to stare at me,

unmoving, for five minutes. I'd appreciate your collective critique.

Greg, you've done a very good job in this picture. I'm a bit amazed that many other people rated the composition below average so far.That's not fair at all. The single grassblade gives her peace of mind. You have to search a lot to find a happy and satisfied cow like this one. Where I come from, most cows live in small stables all the time. So maybe that's a reason, why I'm so impressed by this picture. I like it.

I agree, this is the happiest looking cow I've seen in a long time. She's a beauty and you did a terrific job of capturing her curious nature.
