Shot was taken in the morning around 10am. As the surrounding was very dark, a tripod was used for the long exposure. Recommendation from most people that the 'best' time to take the photo will be around noon where the canyon wall are better lit.

Any comments? Do you think the photo is a little underexposed?

Should I increase the exposure slightly to bring out a little more

details?

I think that the dark sides add impact to the bright centre, you *could* take it when the walls were better lit, but that would be a completely different photo. I like this.

don't think you could raise the exposure without blowing out some of the highlights. the 'problem' is the latitude of the film is insufficient for the scene. there is a stripe neutral density filter, which could've been positioned diagonally on the frame to help bring out more detail in the other portions.
