kar_seng_sim 0 Posted May 5, 2001 Shot was taken in the morning around 10am. As the surrounding was very dark, a tripod was used for the long exposure. Recommendation from most people that the 'best' time to take the photo will be around noon where the canyon wall are better lit. Link to comment
kar_seng_sim 0 Posted May 5, 2001 Any comments? Do you think the photo is a little underexposed? Should I increase the exposure slightly to bring out a little more details? Link to comment
michael_zellhorn 0 Posted May 5, 2001 This is wonderful! I think the exposure here is just perfect. Link to comment
tobino 0 Posted May 5, 2001 I think that the dark sides add impact to the bright centre, you *could* take it when the walls were better lit, but that would be a completely different photo. I like this. Link to comment
jarrod_connerty 0 Posted May 5, 2001 don't think you could raise the exposure without blowing out some of the highlights. the 'problem' is the latitude of the film is insufficient for the scene. there is a stripe neutral density filter, which could've been positioned diagonally on the frame to help bring out more detail in the other portions.
