This beautiful bird was freely strolling on Catamaran Beach in

Colombo, Sri Lanka. The sandy beach had patches of lush green creepers

with mauve flowers. After following the bird for quite some time, I

clicked when I could get the bird, sand, creepers & flowers all

together to make this wonderful scene. 'Bird on the Beach' was

captured on my hand-held DSLR (Canon 550 D) through Canon 70-300 mm

f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM telephoto zoom. Comments & suggestions are solicited.
