it's not easy to catch it. This is best I managed for this storm :) Will be better next time.

I wish this was one of my first.... it's a great shot in my opinion.

Nice lightning strike, but I would definately crop out the surrounding city. The double strike would make a very nice shot on its own.

I did crop a lot of the city... but wanted to leave some. It ads some good feeling to it... like "natural" and "artificial" electricity together.

I have another lighting photo in my folder that was took the same day on same place.. it has less city and more lightning :) I'll post it for critique too.

Actually, I think you should leave the buildings in... they provide a contrast to the blue, cold and frightening lighting in the sky -- warm, light and shelter.... Great shot!!
