Sanchi is a small village in Raisen District of Madhya Pradesh, India.

Several Buddhist Monuments (Gates & Stupas) dating from the 3rd to

12th century are located here. An ancient Buddhist Pilgrimage Center,

Sanchi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and represents one of the

finest examples of Buddhist Architecture in the world.. The picture

depicts one of the beautiful Stupas of Sanchi. 'Sanchi Stupa' was

captured on my DSLR (550 D) through Canon 18-55 mm kit-lens. Comments

& suggestions are solicited.
