Bearded Iris

The purple colors contrasted against the yellow is very appealing. And then we have a dusting of angel powder  to give it a starry appearance. Quite often I see yellows blown out but they are just perfect here. Very well done (6).

Many strong elements comprise this image:  outstanding composition, a low perspective, spot on DOF, exceptionally vivid colors, and minute detail.  Obviously your Canon macro lens helped you with this!

Many thanks for your kind remarks. I was not sure of the crop at first. But it is Macro. My aim is to eventually 'fill the camera screen' as best I can. I read that is really the way to do a Macro.
