Sundancer

This is the blossom of a white peony. I held it right into the sun

and took some pics. I only worked with contrast and tones afterwards.

Nice feeling here. Perhaps I'd like it better if it was sharper in some small area of the flower.

I like the translucence of the flower held to the light. I think if I were to suggest something it would be that I would have preferred to see the whole flower rather than losing some of the petals on the left. The digitizing adds to the drama, certainly. Very striking.

It's a very interesting "take" on a flower in bright light. The flare of light gives a sense of ethereal glimmer. Cool! :)

This is a very intereting image, the flare's colors add a truly unique point of view! I love it!

 

I think that you can do plenty of tests with the framing (as the background is white). Maybe a more "diagonal" version for a more dynamic image?
