Reminds me of African mud cloth textiles. Glad you put this up for critique as it opened a door to your really superb portfolio. Your pictures overflow with feeling. This one is no different. Nothing to suggest.

Would like to see larger scans to get a better feeling of the textures.

Definitely larger scans. You are effectively asking us to give opinions on thumbnails, this is not very easy!

 

As for this image, from what I can see the concept is good, as are the composition and colours. I think this is probably a very good image ....

How did you get the colours? I´ve been to Cuenca a couple of times, and I´d like to take a photo like that next time. Interesting.
