This is one of of the village girls playing in Kovalam Beach where I

spent two days capturing fishermen activities. Her eye caught my

attention and I have emptied an entire roll of 35mm negatives.

first rate composition, color exposurre and DOF. Unfortunately you have some artifacts showing as horizontal lines below the nose and middle of the nose/ Work on the scanning technique. Very good photo

the crop of the girl is well handled, expression is intense and works well here...I may have liked to see he right eye just a bit more...and find the bright background a bit distracting...overall a good portrait

This is a stunning image. She has a look of real intent in her eyes, highlighted by the shadows and hair on her face. Depth of field couldn't be more perfect.
