Musical Steel Drums in our Church - Montreal

A church in Toronto with a heavy music program traveled to Montreal in two large buses and gave a free concert yesterday. It is probably the first time we had a steel drum orchestra in this church which is well over a hundred years old. The well known tune Amazing Grace started out in a very traditional style and then in the middle they changed to a reggae beat and then back to a more traditional form.

These musical drums were invented in Trinidad but many nations (e.g Sweden)  are giving Trinidadians a run for their money in International steel drum competitions. I particularly like the waltzes played on these instruments. 

Amongst my favorite instruments; what beautiful music they must all make.

Excellent depth-  the furthest details are as sharp as the nearest.  Nice glow on the lights.

Conveys a great feeling of warmth and fellowship overall.

Gorgeous image, the only thing I'd like to see is more pictures of this church, which looks like a very beautiful place.
