lintrathen 15 Posted March 9, 2013 As an ex-wedding shooter, personally I very seldom bothered with huge expansive bridal scenes like this....... they were not a customer requirement and I certainly did not want to add to an already busy day. That said, I find this B&W image rather dark and foreboding and had you not tagged this as a Gif image, I would have cropped a fair amount of negative space, both left and right of the couple and possibly played with the lighting a little. Back in the day, the Bride spent a fortune on her dress..... all the "Whistles and Bells" and she wanted to see those W&B's in every image of her. the latter-day bride would not have liked this image.Returning to this image.......... I like the black and white aspect (as opposed to all shades of grey) which you have captured and processed well. It is a crisp sharp image.... just on face value.... very clean. A larger view does not accentuate any further definition..... so I am "snookered by size" (if you know the expression).Your thumbnail was striking enough to make me have a second look and indeed comment............ that doesn't happen too often these days.Best regards Link to comment
