james_oneill 0 Posted August 1, 2003 This has been photographed many, many times before but the light and clouds here give it a nice new take. This was either really good luck or great patience. Link to comment
cq_zhang 0 Posted August 1, 2003 This was both good luck and great patience. Thank one of my friends who devotes the beauty. He gives me a lesson never to give up what you are looking for and never to believe the end of the nature power. Anyway, James, I go with you and don't like to shot an old staff. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted August 2, 2003 I agree with James. Not an ordinary light, and therefore very original to me. The composition works great as it is already, but I keep on wndering how this would have looked had you included a bit more at the bottom ? And perhaps then cropping a tad on the right for a perfect square would have been excellent. If you crop on the right based on the present image, something seems to be missing at the bottom. The crop still works based on the present upload, but doesn't really improve much. I had a look at the other color shot of this place in your folder, and my comment about cropping that one would be exactly the same. Anyway, the picture is still very impressive. Regards. www.graemehird.com 0 Posted August 3, 2003 A great rendition of an often photographed subject. This is one of the best pictures of the Half Dome that I've seen. Well done. Graeme Link to comment
michael_wagner2 0 Posted August 4, 2003 This is a great image that could only be improved by having a split neutral density filter with you at all times. Link to comment
