This is almost an abstract for me because the right side of her face disappears  into the background.  Are her fingers holding a cigarette?  I have to work hard to see the definition of some of the visual elements.  I like the pose and expression but I question the technique.  I would like to see this in color with good definition.  I am uploading an adjustment I made to your image for your consideration.  Good luck.  I hope this helps.

I saw this the other day in the critique forum , Elena,but I did not have time to comment. Is an aesthetically very pleasing portrait, and it has a 40's look. Compliments.
