timothymuffitt 1 Posted February 21, 2013 Dear Elisabeth,This is a nice concept. I have been to this place and stood in that space. (although I think there were a lot more people around!) I love the overexposure of the light and the wonderful dark shadows. Making the openings to the outdoors blinding really focuses us totally on the wonderful brick work and shapes of the stairs. Having that much light in the space also allow us to see details we would not see otherwise. This is great! Tim Link to comment
espector 0 Posted February 21, 2013 Thank you so much for your detailed critique, Tim. I'm really glad this image works for you, including the over-exposed window and doorway and the dark shadows. It's a little higher-contrast than my normal B&Ws, but it seemed to fit the subject matter (loved the geometrical lines/shapes in this space and the feeling of inside vs. outside). Appreciate you taking the time to write your thoughts, especially since you've been to this place yourself. Link to comment
Bachir 0 Posted February 22, 2013 Elisabeth,Perhaps a bit over exposed but still it is such a beautiful photograph and location. Well done and best wishes, Link to comment
