Well, I wouldn't say that, they're sure getting plenty of love - and deservedly so - from your legion of fans. Beautiful work. I sometimes feel that your pictures are a bit over-produced (very occasionally) but definitely not this time. The focus is right where it should be and PP work (if any) is subtle and effective.

Many thanks Jack, I am glad you enjoyed this one. There was subtle P/P on the blooms selected. I found the background very busy so removed and substitued backgrouunds of my choice. Thankyou for your visit, all the best, hope your weekend is going well, Gail

An absolutely beautiful image Gail. The colors and composition are perfect.

Lest I  wax poetic, I see all kinds of  fun stuff here; bowing, nudging, caressing, maybe a bashful response to unrestrained praise but "unloved" I think not unless I were in some sort of nasty funk.

Nicely done.

Every once in a while one comes across an image that really fascinates and grabs the imagination.  This is certainly one of those images.  No matter how many times I look at it, every time I open the image, I like it even more!  So soft and gentle, but yet very powerful.  Beautiful colour and exceptional detail on the front stem.

Great work!

Kind regards

Engela

Thankyou very much for your visit and those lovely words about this composition. I visited your recent images and see that you have a new Canon, and many of your other images are with the Fuji S5000 that I once had also. I know you will come to understand and enjoy your Canon. It is a challenge at first and there is always somethiing new to learn, I am still struggling in several areas. Don't give up, it is such an enjoyable journey.

I am so sorry I did not see your very encouraging words until now. I need to go through my Portfolio much more often to see just what others have shared. Many thanks again for your kindness.

most sincerely, Gail
