I know these are probably the friendliest of pets but I can't escape thinking that they look like a couple of raptors on the prowl for their next victim.

Hi Ruud and Jack, thanks for viewing and commenting.  @Jack - just a pair of tails with idiots attached, having fun together in and out of the river.  Very friendly - sometimes overly so.  You are liable to wear paw prints and slobber marks on your shirt.

Great color and detail, especially when viewed at the larger setting.  Love the intensity of expression in the dog's face, and the eye color is beautiful.  Very nice shot, indeed.
