jim_j2 9 Posted February 13, 2013 Attempting to get some shots that will show the details in their feathers and markings, yet also be an attractive shot! This is one of many of this group of Eastern Turkey's that I have found in the Sequoyah State Park here in Eastern Oklahoma. I can observe them almost every evening just before dark and they (about 20 birds) are getting used to my hide in their territory. I decided to leave the EF 100-400 in the bag and try the 100 f/2.8 in the "disappearing late afternoon light." Your comments/critiques, ratings and advices are greatly appreciated! Thanks always, Jim j. Link to comment

jim_j2 9 Posted February 22, 2013 Many thanks to you all!My apologies for not being able to express my gratitude for your visits and comments prior to now.As some of you many know, my internet access has become very limited with the recent move from Kansas to Oklahoma but, I have found a way to check in every week or so, post some recent images, and "catch up" on some "PN-time!"I'm having a ball exploring the local area and finding new photo opportunities! And, will work up and post some of the successes when I can!Again, Many thanks always,Jim j. Link to comment
