robert_ton1 0 Posted July 29, 2003 The first time I'd ever seen a carillon was about 10 minutes before this shot was taken. Performance art -- I learned more afterwards. The carillon, in this case, is 4 tons of tuned brass bells on a mobile platform. Played with the fists and the feet. This photo is almost as haunting as the music (which was superb). The player is Frank DellaPenna of Cast in Bronze. I don't know him, but he put on a heck of a performance in full costume under the hot Colorado sun. Link to comment
dougityb 0 Posted July 31, 2003 it's very difficult to tell what is going on and the contrast level is far below normal. Suggest tweaking the levels adjustment to richen the blacks/shadows. Highlight values are ok. There are not enough clues in this image to tell what's going on. Maybe being able to see his hands would help? Link to comment
