The first time I'd ever seen a carillon was about 10 minutes before

this shot was taken. Performance art -- I learned more afterwards.

The carillon, in this case, is 4 tons of tuned brass bells on a

mobile platform. Played with the fists and the feet. This photo is

almost as haunting as the music (which was superb). The player is

Frank DellaPenna of Cast in Bronze. I don't know him, but he put on

a heck of a performance in full costume under the hot Colorado sun.

it's very difficult to tell what is going on and the contrast level is far below normal. Suggest tweaking the levels adjustment to richen the blacks/shadows. Highlight values are ok. There are not enough clues in this image to tell what's going on. Maybe being able to see his hands would help?
