rod_melotte 0 Posted February 4, 2013 Almost lost my camera - 50mph winds decided to carry off my tripod and camera when I had my back turned for a second. Link to comment
Jim_Dockery_Photos 2 Posted February 4, 2013 This has the look of an old slightly washed out postcard from some obscure location. Well done if that was your intent. Link to comment
scott_murphy5 101 Posted February 4, 2013 I really like this image! Oh what I could do with this scene and a 4x5 and a 135mm lens! I agree with the postercard comment, it looks almost like a black and white image which was colorized a long time ago. The colors have more of a pastel rather than realistic tone to them. Speaking of black and white, I converted to grayscale. It looks great as a fine art print too! Link to comment
rod_melotte 0 Posted February 5, 2013 I've done this in B&W and a few other ways but this one who's color is a little more saturated in real life seems to be the winner so far. The coloring does seem to draw peoples eyes towards it (and pocket books :-) Link to comment
andrzejp 9 Posted February 5, 2013 I like the color version a lot. It looks indeed like an old postcard. Link to comment
