Heusden is a small city in the South of Holland and it has some remarkable windmills. This type of windmill used to grain corn.

This a what we call a 'standerd molen'. This type of mill dates back to the middle ages. This type of windmill has become rare.

BTW: the skies were beautiful the day I took this picture. I didn't have to change anything on the picture to get such clouds... they are as they were in reallity.
