ImageDescription: Extreme weather can come at any time as I discovered during this snow storm one morning in late May. As I arrived in the California's Yosemite National Park before sunrise I was delighted to be greeted by fresh falling snow as I ented the park. As the morning continued the snow continued to fall and the day became more-and-more beautiful.The chapel in Yosemite Valley is the oldest building in the park and part of the orginal Yosemite Village which stood in a nearby meadow. The chapel is also one of the most beautiful buildings in the park and a place I'ved wanted to make an image like this one for years. I just never thought I'd have the opporunity to do so as the calendar was almost ready to turn to June.I composed a horizontal image in order to keep the large tree and bench on the right side of the image in the frame in order to balance the chruch and snow covered tree which were acting as the main subject. Also, a horizontal image allowed me to crop out the plan white sky that were just above the granite wall in the background.Nikon D7000Nikon 18-200mm VRII lensManfrotto tripod and lensMinor tonal work in Photoshop CS5;
