gregoryl 0 Posted January 26, 2013 Hello LeonidA pretty young girl. It has good sharpness and she has a pleasant expression. I think the other photo of her looking directly at the camera is a better pose but I don't like the black background. This photo would likely only have interest for family members but that is fine. I have some suggestions to improve the image. I find the furniture in the background distracting and would suggest cloning and blurring it out. Also there are harsh shadows from the flash under her chin and collar. I would suggest lightening them. A softbox or a Gary Fong diffuser on the flash would help to soften the shadows and give a more flattering light. The other thing that makes a photo much more appealing is to take the flash off the camera. That would require a flash that can be controlled from the camera or a cord or a wireless trigger. I don't know what equipment you have or how viable these options are for you. I did a quick edit to show what I mean, for your consideration. Just my 2 cents.RegardsGreg Link to comment
