lintrathen 15 Posted January 26, 2013 Wow! You've been here on PN for 7 years yet still post images without any camera detail or exif data.......... there again your commenting here is not too active either...... so you probably won't even read this anyway......?The image quality here is not good. I would surmise that it was taken with an inexpensive cellphone (mobile phone), but that aside, the whole background is disturbing..... in that it is cluttered and the bright window is very distracting............Unfortunatley I have nothing possitive to say about this image, however you do have better ones in your various foldersRegards Link to comment
mhahn 26 Posted January 26, 2013 I have been on PN for 7 years and still typically delete exif info when I post a picture. Who cares? Link to comment
edbrown 0 Posted January 28, 2013 I've looked at a few of your pictures and I am impressed by your ability to capture the feelings of your subjects. I stopped at this one because it captured a particularly tender feeling, which it seems to me is not always easy for photographers [like me] to do. all the best, ed Link to comment
lintrathen 15 Posted January 29, 2013 I'm surprised at your response... yet it brought a smile to my face......In doing what you do (re the exif etc) what exactly do you want other photographers to comment on or help you with? Are you here to learn? or are you here to launch your images as "fait acompli" .....pure perfection?Either way, I cannot teach nor learn from an image that has no supporting information........!With no disrespect to ED (poster caught in between our posts) he has commented on this image as he sees it, but can he emulate your capture, does he know how you did it?.... he obviously had an interest else why would he have commented? So where and how do members get the benefit of your expertise?Yes, I suppose "who cares" sums it up for you........... I won't bother with your images in future......Regards Link to comment
mhahn 26 Posted January 29, 2013 I think I see some bokeh in the background. So, no, it's not a "cellphone" picture. I think the main problem with this picture is that the subject is a little hunched over in a way that is perhaps not very appealing. I'm not sure that problems like this are amenable to getting right the next time through an analysis of the picture data.I think the eyes and the face are very nice.Martin Link to comment
