ajay_ramakrishnan 0 Posted January 22, 2013 Oh My! what a beautiful snake! Nicely focused shot. Loved the color. It is interesting to note that some scales are white! Is it any indication of the age of the snake (as in humans)? Link to comment
jerrymat 5 Posted January 22, 2013 Indeed! A wonderful image! The green really jumps out at you. Is it possible the faded scales are being shed? Link to comment
jerrymat 5 Posted January 22, 2013 I checked entries on the web and discover the pictures show a much less saturated green than you do. Is it possible that you overemphasized the green in processing? Link to comment
cliffb 0 Posted January 23, 2013 Jerry, look a little further on the internet, and you will see other examples of gree tree pythons this green, as well as others that are dull green, bright yellow, and combinations of green and yellow. Keep in mind also that the bright lighting of a zoo exhibit makes for photos with high contrast and strong color saturation. Link to comment
shane_hamblyn1 0 Posted January 23, 2013 I hate snakes, I admit it... so part of me didnt want to even look at the photo for any length of time. However, I was drawn in by the colour and composition of the photo. The shadows and the light are fantastic. So, you made me stare at something, that generally speaking, scares the crap out of me. Nice work!!! :) Link to comment
