davidv 0 Posted July 27, 2003 nice picture, I like the eye of the girl.. baybe a little to dark.. but that creates a very nice contrast .. well done Link to comment

jason_law 0 Posted July 28, 2003 very very nice. before i saw the info on your shot--i did indeed think it was mid-eastern. good show Link to comment
angela_cummings1 0 Posted July 28, 2003 The composition is beautiful, but I would like to see some more light on her face. Link to comment

photomd 0 Posted July 28, 2003 Original perspective of oudoor portraiture. I like to see it with max DOF. Excellent job. Link to comment
t._n._williams 0 Posted July 28, 2003 beautiful and disturbing. the wide eyes with the pensive mouth make her look terrified. which makes the shot even more believable as a middle eastern shot. even if it was only shot in michigan. Link to comment
matt_l.1 0 Posted July 29, 2003 Oh man, great expression, composition, moment and place. But i feel that the contrast is just too great. I think more light on the girl would make this shot much better. Beautiful intent and try, though. Link to comment
jeff d 1 Posted July 29, 2003 tree on the right is distracting. I would PS in a tree in focus. It would add a nice counterbalance Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 29, 2003 Wondeful expression and strong contrast. Only one thing, her right eye is too much disturbed by her hair. Link to comment
jerry_squires 0 Posted July 29, 2003 This looks cartoonish to me. The eye looks unreal. Was this modified in any way? Really interesting shot. Great composition! Link to comment
robert goldstein 0 Posted July 29, 2003 This is a very striking and beautiful image, definitely POW material. You have achieved extraordinary balance between the two halves of the frame in terms of light/dark and human figure/sand-tree. BTW, your entire portfolio is excellent. Link to comment
john_kroy 0 Posted July 29, 2003 Oh dear. She looks like she really enjoyed having her picture taken. I think, shock aside, that the hair is distracting - obviously not posed. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 30, 2003 Eye - tree, bathrobe - sand, and in the middle, the reversed "Z" made by: her hair - the hair's shadow on the bathrobe - and the wet sand in the back. Just try, in the darkroom or PS, to put in rhyme the two bright spots on her face with the two clouds. As it looks now, these parts are competing with each other. But the feeling produced by your shoot is great: I'm in front of a Masterpiece! Link to comment
kristian reinau 0 Posted July 30, 2003 Really strong expression in this picture - nice Link to comment
thierry_lombry 0 Posted July 30, 2003 Why not a colorful picture, well saturated ? The contrast between the blue sky, yellow desert and the brown eyes and face of this girl must be fantastic and give to this image much more impact... Link to comment
