mike_stemberg 40 Posted January 10, 2013 Great positioning of both model and lighting = great shot! Link to comment
jerrymat 5 Posted January 11, 2013 Pretty Model and a nice pose. I see that you apparently used a single key light off to picture left. It was close enough that it exaggerated the difference in highlights with those on her right arm being substantially brighter than the highlights on her left. Perhaps moving the light a little further away would even this out.But then, most importantly! Where is the fill light to keep the shadows from being pure black? A fill light could be just above the camera, would tend to throw no shadow but would give you control of the shadows left by the key light.Jerry Link to comment
panagiotis_assonitis 0 Posted January 11, 2013 Thank you Jerry for your comments. I intentionally placed the light this way and I have not used a fill flash. I wanted to create an image that goes from darkness to shadows to light. Link to comment
Elstad 9 Posted January 16, 2013 A fine job of creating drama with a single light. I've been known to use a black bounce card to fully absorb the light on the dark side and keep it from adding any fill. I love her expression too I do, seemingly full of wonder.Cheers, Raymond Link to comment
