Hi Einar,

This is a nice presentation.

I noticed in the details that a 320 mm focal length was used at F/9.

This appears to be a zoom lens, unless you used a teleconverter to amplify a shorter focal length lens.

If it is a zoom lens, I would recommend that you use F/5.6 (if the lens opens to that f-stop) as the performance often improves, especially with zoom lens.

Also, a lower ISO or higher shutter speed results, which further can improve your results.

Best Regards, Mike

Thanks for advice. The shot is taken with my Nikon 70-200 f2,8 lense extended with Nikon 1,7 teleconverter. My reason for stopping down was to ensure blured propellers. Assume a ND grad filer combined with a lower ISO would have been better.

Hi Eniar,

When using the Nikkor 1.7X with the zoom lens, keep the lens set to wide open or F/4 for best image characteristics. A quality ND filter is a better way to go.

Best Regards my friend, Mike
