NRoF F16 Falcon

From the air show at Sola Airport Stavanger in June 2012. The aircraft is

flown by Major Eskil Amdal, Norways only certified show pilot.

Such event creates a lot of opportunities, while at the same time hard to

catch due to speed and croud.The shutter speed is 1/80 second, done to

blur out the background while panning. What ya think?

Great job panning.  The fire rings in the jet's exhaust are really cool.

A great shot. I love jet plane pictures. I think this was nicely done with the "slow" shutter speed to show movement in the background. I wonder what this would have been like at say 1/15th or even 1/4 second. Well done!

Capturing it at even a lower shutter speed would have been great, but I didn´t dare to go lower. Decided to play it safe. This was the first shot in a sequence of three, but the plane is not this sharp on the two others. 

Also capturing the pressure wave from the afterburner shows the power in play. Only the soundtrack is lacking.
