Do you find this photo provocative? I didn't mean this series to be,

only a bit bizarre, but some people are so easily provoced... The

groom's hat and hands are cropped because it was difficult arranging

the composition in front of the tripod and then run into the

picture...

I find it to be very tasteful! There is an innocence that both of you display. This image is timeless...looks early 1900's. Is this your 'wedding day' self-portrait? If so, congradulations!

Very lovely model. Keep experimenting with this theme and style.

Haha, no, I don't think any of us will ever marry... We're just not the marrying type...

This is a great shot...i think the only thing that could be improved would be having his hands...but i understand jumping in front of the tripod, and this is not such a big deal...i think the top hat cropped works fine...it all works to center the girl (you?) placing the guy off to the side leaves space for someone else to the left...it is very subtly absurd which i find very interesting...the hand coloring really works well...

The hand coloring is veerry nice. I have seen many poor examples of hand coloring, but this series really works for me. They have a definite 1920's feel...thanks for sharing.

Hi Tove og Elin ! There is in Oslo - Torshov a photographer who makes absolutely funny wedding pictures. Yours reminds me so much the mood of some films by Ingmar Bergman... Congrats :-)

My name is Tove Ingeborg Elin. I'm called Tove. There are not two of us, and if there was, we'd both be girls.

That's not an ikea sofa! That's actually an antique sofa from a secound hand store, so stop insulting it.

Some ideas:

the bride is looking at the camera, and I'd like to see a more candid shot. The groom is looking away, I would expect to see the bride looking somewhere else as well, but not where the groom is looking.

The bride is slouching. Poor posture may be working for you, but I would have her work on this. The results would be more aesthetic.

The couch would never sell at Ikea. It is not chintzy looking and in fact is wonderful!

The mood here is very dark partially due to the underexposure. If you like that mood, keep it just as is. If you'd like to brighten it up, you may want to try that and see whether it affects the viewer's reaction as well.

Overall, a wonderful composition and great execution.

this is a great image. the expressoions are great, both express the unwillingness. its not exactly beeing unhappy, but its a kind of personalities. u deliver it very well here, and i do know how difficult it is to make perfect photo when u yourself in the frame.

Jeff, I disagree. I think what makes this picture work is precisely the fact that she is looking into the camera while he is just gazing at some other undefined place.

this tribute folder is so much saudek, that i'm not sure, how to rate it for originality...

but nevertheless, especially this picture is really interesting...

This my favorite from the series. Creative idea, interesting expressions, hand coloring is a plus. However, with all of these, a little more care with craft would have made these better. The crop here doesn't seem right and the woman's hands aren't natural.
