The pictures of that series are given terrific ratings by some people

and terrible ones by some other, making them quite controversial

"average" pictures. I also get many questions about what Photoshop

technique I used and even more comments about how I should have used

Photoshop, but the truth is that the technique is 100% analog and

doesn't use Photoshop at all. The technique is decribed in the

technical notes of every picture of the series, to no avail. Oh well.

Great, what were the two slides?

It's can be a shame that folks don't get to know the image before rating it. But then again, that's how the critique system works on this site. Either way, you've made some very interesting images with this technique.

IMHO you've achieved the fairy tale look quite succesfully. Definitely worth the time it took you to figure out how to get rid of the Newton rings!
