What appears to be haze effect is in reality a dust from the nearby gravel road. Sun was setting and it created a huge "softbox". I even didn't have to add any haze here, as contrast was low already.

had to chuckle when i read what created the haze effect. how ever it was created it most certainly makes for a dynamic result. really like your image and a beautiful model also.  hope you have a great 2013!

I'm used to dust (some 5 years spent in road rally photography). Place was like some 100 meters from the road but what made the difference - there was no wind that normally would make the haze disappear in a glimpse of an eye - instead dust was floating for as long as we where there.
