modestos_modestou 0 Posted July 22, 2003 After leaving the fireworks display with a gut feeling I didnt get any decent shots I saw this scene and felt there was something there. Would appreciate any critique Link to comment
bens 0 Posted July 26, 2003 Unique, terrific shot. your explanation of its context helps to appreciate it. the tree in the foreground with the small tree to the right is a very mice juxtaposition. Link to comment
sreddy 0 Posted August 2, 2003 No wonder, it's a "Gold winner of Dunhill Photo Competition". Link to comment
hazeelin_hassan 0 Posted August 4, 2003 Excellent shot! Deserves the Gold award for sure. Congratulations! Link to comment
margharita_modestou 0 Posted October 30, 2003 This is my most favourite ever shot that you have taken. I don't know how to explain it but from the very first time I ever saw it it has left a lasting impression. Definitely more than deserving of the Gold Award. Keep up the good work dad. brian_robson 0 Posted December 30, 2003 Awesome photograph. Try cropping the black strip down the left side. Excellent work Link to comment
jennifercatron 9 Posted January 20, 2004 Im not sure anything really needs to be done with it in photoshop other than cropping off the black on the left hand side. Nice job. Link to comment
jannis 0 Posted January 27, 2004 I agree with Jennifer. Great shot. Just crop the left side Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 28, 2004 Awesome tree indeed my friend. I'm redundant in the crop suggestion - I agree (crop the black line). Very interesting effect on this tree. Almost painted. Good shot. Link to comment
jim_stunkel 0 Posted April 3, 2009 Beautiful image, but the scan quality leaves a lot to be desired. You need to rescan (preferably from the original negative or slide) and properly set the black point and contrast. Also crop off the edge of the print. Link to comment
