ebanders 0 Posted September 20, 2003 Does this pic work with the long beach, or should I crop it down to put the horizon in the bottom 1/3 of the picture? Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 20, 2003 I like the beach leading to the lighthouse. There's too much clutter by the lighthouse for a tighter shot. I also like the tree echoing the lighthouse. Link to comment
cbender 0 Posted September 21, 2003 I suggest cropping the image just above the lighthouse, and just to the left of the rock where the people are standing. Part of the bottom should go as well. This would make the entire image less busy. Link to comment
chun_keat_ooi 0 Posted September 21, 2003 I agree with parts of both earlier comments, that there's too much distracting foreground clutter, yet at the same time the lighthouse area is not suitable for a tight crop. I think one solution might be to walk past the paycj of distracting rocks in the foreground to the sandy patch, keeping roughly the same composition of horizon at the upper one-third. Link to comment
