gsphotoguy 3 Posted November 4, 2012 There is a wonderful moodiness to this terrific photograph, Tracy. The placement of your model in the barn provides a nice contrast of her natural curves to the lines of the wood. The dappled light falls nicely on her body. Her open legs add a sexual element that one does not expect in this kind of image. Well made! Link to comment
westcave 0 Posted November 4, 2012 Thanks Mark. It is a study in contrast on many levels. There are many layers to this one. And Drew, thank you for taking the time to leave such an intelligent and insightful criticism. I have deep respect for you and your work now.Tracy Link to comment
chris_gilbert3 0 Posted November 4, 2012 Drew i too have a greater respect for you. This reminds me of that movie DELIVERENCE. the part where the hillbilly is playing the banjo... it has the same mood! Link to comment
westcave 0 Posted November 4, 2012 Well I just love it when little boys looking at the nudie pics on mommy's computer leave juvenile comments--especially little boys without ports of their own. By the way Chris (as if that is your real name), I read some of your other childish comments on this site...you misspelled "judgment." I guess you haven't gotten that far in your junior high school reader yet. You will go blind son if you keep this up.... Tracy Link to comment
drewphotos 0 Posted November 4, 2012 OMG, Tracy. There's no place here for such comments as those towards people. 1st of all, @ least in regard to myself and the motivation & rational to what I'd said, you're judgement is 100% off the mark, you're presumptions 100% wrong. Sounds like the 'hung ups' about nudity vs aesthetics are only yours. Bit of a rude stretch to be insulting people over a spelling error which, could be nothing more than accident or typo. Please, refrain from any more of this sort of thing in photo.net. Also, people are entitled to their opinions of photos w/out you condemning, misunderstanding, mislabelling (them) or being demeaning to others. Curb such behavior, henceforth. You're innuendos & personal insults were way out of line. Cheers,Drew Link to comment
westcave 0 Posted November 4, 2012 And I am entitled to mine. You know, free speech and all of that. What part of my deep respect for your intellect and work offended you Drew? You seem most out of control of your emotions here. Perhaps you should find a hobby that isn't going to get you so upset and hostile towards others.Tracy Link to comment
westcave 0 Posted November 4, 2012 Could these two empty profiles belong to one deeply disturbed or very lonely boy? Link to comment
westcave 0 Posted November 4, 2012 Drew, you misspelled "judgment" just like Chris. What are the odds. Gotcha! Link to comment
morophaenixmau 27 Posted November 5, 2012 Your style is unquestionable! Ciao, Maurizio. Link to comment
John Peri 1,039 Posted November 6, 2012 Somewhat mysterious. A lot of atmosphere captured here, bravo. Link to comment
westcave 0 Posted November 6, 2012 Thank you both. Capturing this model's spirit and nature was an incredible challenge. I shot all day and only got two images that are worth showing. She is very complex.Tracy Link to comment
Jeff Filler 1 Posted May 4, 2013 This is a fantastic photograph! We used it as inspiration for a shoot and found how difficult it is indeed to capture. Well done. I am disappointed with how the comment string went for a while ... but now it looks like it's back on subject. Link to comment
