This is a heck of a good shot. The solitary chair standing alone at the water's edge seems to face her end with more defiance than resigned acceptance. There is still an air of fierce bravado about her and memories of faded glory in gilded salons where there were no sand crabs scutlling round her legs and seaweed draping her weathered arms. She may be only a piece of derelict furniture but she holds tight to her dignity as she awaits the coming night.

a rather captivating shot; not sure whether peaceful or melancholy. I would like to see some more contrast though as it is rather flat and doesn't lead me in to it as much as it could.

thanks.

I like the placing of the chair in the middle-bottom, making it a very elegant composition. The texture you managed to get out of the BW process is also great. Imaginative and original. Congratulations.
