This was taken back in 2008 in Acadia National Park in Maine (USA). It was a pond that went from motion to calm repeatedly. I caught it it on one of its calm moments. I found the white striations quite compelling. taken with my D300 and 70-300mm Nikkor. 

I may have processed this a few years ago and at that time I probably did not get those little patches of blue to be as visible as it is here.
