lintrathen 15 Posted March 12, 2013 Unfortunately you haven't included your lens or exif data, making a critique a little tricky...........In all honesty, I did download this image to PSE6 and ran a few diagnostics, the WB adjustment gave the image a nice overall "lighter" (more natural ) presentation, with some definition in the background........ this prompted me to look at a potential crop, to remove some negative space, however the resultant enlargement of the image, unfortunately highlighted the softness of the Heron. My attempts at sharpening were not successful.So, all in all, let me say that this is a good environmental image and I certainly like the setting/ambiance. For me, the AF could have picked up on the fern/foliage behind the bird, thus including the bird in the DoF exercise.For so many of us it is still all a learning curve, and as we learn, we improve.Best regards Link to comment
