Nice tones and composition.I like the contrast between the hard rock and the softer background. 

I wonder if the reflections would be stronger without the cloud cover ? That would really draw the eye to the foreground .

This is really great.  You've got a small space with good light in the foreground so that some of the detail of the rocks (on the right) can be better seen, yet the nature of the entire rim filled with these rocks can still be appreciated.  The soft contours of the distant hills are also very good, and the sky works nicely as well. It's a difficult area to shoot (IMO), and this is excellent -- it really typifies the nature of the area.

This is actually a blend of two consecutive files that turned out pretty good for me. Sometimes I forget that I shot it that way and then overlook it when I am sifting through them later.
