I am torn on this one. When I first saw it I thought it was average at best, but after really looking at it I have changed my mind completely. First, the subject has been captured beautifully. The catchlight is exquisite. Now here's where my dilemma came in - the background - do I like the chain link fence or not? After long moments of contemplation the answer is YES. It works for me. There is a nice originality to this portrait and the model has a look of serenity that seems to clash a little bit with the hardness of the fence. Okay, probably going way too far with this - forgive me! Nice job!!!
