rulon 0 Posted July 24, 2003 This is really nice. I hope you will resize and repost it so it will be easier to see it all at once. Link to comment
hugh_hill 0 Posted July 24, 2003 try reducing the size a little as first impressions really count and it is a nice image which loses some of its appeal when the viwer has to resize it, just a thought. Hugh Link to comment
john_kroy 0 Posted July 29, 2003 This is really nice shot. Makes me want to go there. Very difficult to rate though without zooming. At 1900 x 1653 pixels and 383Kb its way over the guidelines, but like I say a very nice shot. Link to comment

greg s 4 Posted March 17, 2006 Sensational! This would benefit enormously from an app like NeatImage to eliminate the noise. Color and composition are terrific. -Greg- Link to comment
david_nicholls 0 Posted March 12, 2007 This photo, and some of the others here, remind me a lot of Victor Hessler's wonderful B&W auroral photos from Fairbanks, Alaska, from the 1950s/60s. The secret to a beautiful auroral photo is to set it in a foreground context. This one is also beautifully composed. It has the added benefit of the multiple colours (atomic oxygen, molecular oxygen and molecular nitrogen auroral emissions). A superb example of auroral photography. DN Link to comment
