Wrightsville Beach Sunset

Is this HDR image over the top or natural looking? My intent was to

make it realistic.

What a fabulous image! Great use of HDR - sympathetic without going cartoonish. The silky texture of the see, the beautiful muted hues of the sky, and that fabulous detail in the woodwork...all adds up to a genuinley pleasing image. Great work!

Good Morning, I agree with Graham. The woodwork looks so good although the entire structure looks as though it might coolapse. Love the muted colors of the sky. Great shot.

Great use of HDR. And the blurry water adds a good atmosphere to the image.

If realism is the goal I would darken the underside of the pier a bit, but overall I think the goal of realism and expanded range is achieved

I agree with the above remarks.  Beautiful image.  I have yet to do my first HDR, and I want to try one soon.  This one works extremely well.
