audrey lee reid 0 Posted July 16, 2003 I tried to clone out the reflection of the tree on the lower left, but gave up due to limited PS skills. Link to comment
craig_johnson 0 Posted July 16, 2003 I only noticed the tree on the reflection of the tree on the left when you mentioned it so I wouldn't worry. Excellent Job! Link to comment
ian crean 0 Posted July 16, 2003 Beautiful tone, I would persevere with that clone out as i think it will help.Nice job, though. Link to comment
jason neymeyer 0 Posted July 16, 2003 Beautiful low contrast landscape. The only thing that would have made this better in my opinion would have been to catch the birds a little earlier so they weren't flying out of the frame. I know this is much easier said than done! It is very nice as is. Link to comment
lyle bergman 0 Posted July 16, 2003 Depending one's opinion, this photo might work better if cropped between the 2nd and 3rd trees from the left. Link to comment
audrey lee reid 0 Posted July 16, 2003 For your kind feedbacks. Jason, if the truth be known, I didn't see the birds before the click - it was a lucky catch. Lyle, I like your idea of the crop between the 2/3 tree, that would nicely clear away the reflection of the lower tree, but I didn't want to reduce the width of the image, if anything, had the birds not been there, I think I would prefer to have cropped the image to a squarer format. Guest Guest Posted July 21, 2003 The tones on this are just lovely Audrey. The blues throughout set a very nice mood, creating a real sense of serenity. I particularly like the muted reflection of the sun on the water and those birds. The small reflection of the tree on the lower left could be gotten rid of, but its not a big obstacle to the effectiveness of the image. Very nicely done. Link to comment
mmmee 0 Posted September 7, 2003 How did I miss this one? I love it. the mist is done perfectly. the reflection of the sun (?) moon (?) is an added extra. So surreal. Link to comment

atle.g 0 Posted March 2, 2005 Lovely capture indeed, most appealing mood. I know you like photos square format ;-).. but in this case i might agree with the suggestion to crop between the 2nd and 3rd tree...because of the land... but would also agree that it might work better in a wider format... so the question is to clone or not. either way.. well done! audrey lee reid 0 Posted March 3, 2005 Atle, thank you for taking the time. I agree with you on the cropping or trying my hand with the clone tool..now that I know just a tad more on how to get around Photoshop compare to when I first uploaded this. I'll give it a try sometime and hopefully you'll come back and give me your thoughts? Link to comment
