DGorinstein 20 Posted October 16, 2012 I was browsing the internet and found Michael Frye's website:http://www.michaelfrye.com/landscape-photography-blog/wp-content/uploads//2012/10/0212-11455.jpgIn this link you will find an almost identical image (I guess your is better because it has more color). I can see the place is the same because of the small curvature on the aspen closest to the water. It makes me wonder: Were you in Michael's class? Your images even have the mist raising from the water. That is odd, and a real coincidence, don't you think? Link to comment
landscapes 0 Posted October 18, 2012 Hi Daniel, No I was not in the workshop. Although there was a group of three photographers (workshop?) at this spot. Huge coincidence? Not really. The area was full of photographers and this spot is easily accessible. This grove also had the best color in the area and was visible from the road. Thanks for the comments. Steve Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted October 18, 2012 Thank you very much for your comments, which explain a lot! As I said before, I believe your image is better than that of the pro. Well done.DG Link to comment
