Very expressive portrait!

I really like this portrait.  It's the background elements (window, older-style clock, photographs, and what appears to be a somewhat heavy coat for inside wear) that complement her serious, or resigned, look on her face.  She projects a mood or a thought that is reflected in your photograph.

The silver clock that purrs in the living room, saying YES saying NO, that says I am waiting for you...saying YES saying NO and waiting for US. (Jacques Brel, "Les vieux").  Your composition is very good, the use of monochrome is appropriate and this is a tough as you get. Compliments

Beautiful shot and agree with much of the lyricism waxed by other photographers above.  Only find it a bit of pity that the frame is so close, nearly flush, with the tip of the ever so expressive fingers; I would have wished them to have had a bit more room to be framed properly.  Once again very nice work and my best compliments to you.
