This shot was taken in La Jolla, California at the Salk Institute. Much of this

shot is natural and there is only minor post processing that was done to

include straightening of the photo and proper cropping as well as curves and

levels. Just wanted some input to see what can be improved and overall

thoughts of the work.

Very powerful symmetric picture. Impressive. I don't really know what could be improve. I like it as it is.

The lighting and the mostly obscured building faces add a touch of drama to the thunderstorm like clouds and the water trough beginning in the foreground. However, the symmetry adds a contrary sense of equilibrium to what might  otherwise be dramatic subject matter, and I don't feel at all in "hell's path." That said, I think you have captured an interesting viewpoint and atmosphere in a primarily architectural image.

It's too beautiful to be Hell's Path... I wouldn't change a thing (except perhaps the title :>)
