Ah!  I could be wrong, but I suspect I'm seeing the face of the playful imp behind the leaf mask?  Endearing.  (...said the father of a daughter...as such, these images always get to me...).  Lovely tones here as well.

Right on the money. In fact all three of my latest posts are the same girl. She was a real charmer and not at all shy facing a "gaijin" (foreignor) with a camera. Most kids are pretty bashful in that kind of situation but not this one. I took over 100 pictures of her. She's a natural and when she grows up, wil be a true heart-breaker I'm sure.

So you DID enjoy this sweet little girl! Over 100 images. That is nice Jack. She is one of those surprises that comes along and makes you forget every Pothole and Garbage can that dots the many back alleys and streets. While they make for very good 'street shots', they can't warm your heart and 'make your day'. I am sure you will enjoy working on your images taken of her. Her personality shines in this image. Her Dad looks very pleasant as well.  Love to see images like this. ;-)

I like how she seems to hang over the edge just like those huge leaves behind her.  The dad's tilt seems to pull the scene the other way.  It's a nice tension.

I'm intrigued by the title of this folder and I have wondered the same thing many times. Why aren't more people taking photographs like these? Maybe because they don't understand.
