I get a very faint hint that she is a rather independent spirit.  I can't think of much to add, but I wonder if she were turned a bit more toward the camera if that might decrease the strong lines in her neck.  I'm not sure about here hair; I think her fingers pushing back her hair might be more striking than hiding her fingers behind her head and using what appears to be a faded rose to hold her hair somewhat in place.  Nice shot.
