Nice picture but should a portrait such as this draw attention to the face?  The hair falling into a plunging neckline draws my eye right to her.... well you know.  Lovely lady

John, the first thing I noticed was that you cut off the top of her head. You probably were not looking there.  The second thing I noticed was that she is a bleached blond and her roots are showing rather badly.  Then I realized her eyes were hidden in shadows and lacked highlights.  Then I noticed her lipstick color does not compliment her dress color.  I just did not have time to notice anything else.

Thanks Danny,Alex,Dave & Jerry for your critiques. Thanks for reminding me about the importance of eye catchlights. Sorry Jerry you didn't have time to view completely. I was distracted when I took the photo & realised after  I missed the top of her head.    Regards John

A very pretty lady.  I used shadow/highlights image adjustment in photoshop cs to open up the shadows.  I used midrange and highlight dodge on her eyes to bring out the natural reflections.  I would like to believe that all women have a ready, effortless smile with which to greet the world---but alas, much of the time it is the personality and warmth of the photographer that is responsible for it.  Nice job!

Certainly well-endowed. I do miss the catchlights in her eyes, and find the skin a bit TOO smooth, with the softness extending to the hair as well.

Thanks  Allan & John for your welcoming critiques. Too smooth skin is something to think about.

Thanks John once again for your appraisal.Your treatment has worked well for her eyes are more clearly seen. The girl was only too willing to be photographed which was in my favour.

Regards John
