fred_j._lord 0 Posted July 15, 2003 Everything in Alaska is sort of out of the ordinary. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 15, 2003 Should have included more background and less rocky foreground. Link to comment
amason 0 Posted July 15, 2003 The lower part isn't interesting enough, but the top half is good. Link to comment
fred_j._lord 0 Posted July 15, 2003 This is just a beginning of several images of this outcropping. In several, the sheep is (are) much more central to the composition. Link to comment
jim schwaiger 0 Posted July 15, 2003 At first glance, I thought the sheep was in mid air. Where were you Fred? Link to comment
fred_j._lord 0 Posted July 15, 2003 The last time we were in Denali in 1999 there were three gyrfalcons on this particular mound of rocks. This is a highly productive area for photographers in the park. There is always something going on at this rock. See my new close up shot just inserted of the sheep. Link to comment
michael_ward1 0 Posted July 15, 2003 I gotta agree with Jim and Fred: That beast looks like he's in mid-leap at first glance. and the rocks in the foreground are at least as interesting as the rest of the photo. To please the PN crowd, this would have to be made into two different images. But the PN crowd are a bunch-a-jerks. This is incredible just the way it is. Just needs a little more resolution to appreciate it fully (well, maybe a lot more resolution). Link to comment
