Catching the Morning Sun

These two were seeming to enjoy the morning sun on the steps. Curious

Marek, It was just pure luck I found these guys in the early morning light. I almost didn't get out of bed early due to enjoying the previous evening a bit too much. But, there was someone making a bunch of noise outside my hotel. So I got up and headed towards a church that I wanted to get in the morning light with my wide angle. I was actually standing quite close to the door when I took the shot due to the fact the at it's longest the lens was still 16mm. Later when I viewed it on my laptop did I first notice how nice it had turned out. Like I said, I got lucky. But someone once said, "Luck favors the prepared".

Great colours and play of shadows, very well composed; I would prefer a bit more contrast, but excellent image anyway.

Very good. I like your graphical sense in this composition. The dogs are on the left but you included their shadows. the texture of the red wall is quite appealing. very Good light also. Thanks for stopping by one of my Fall images recently and commenting.
